Ian Duffy

Ian Duffy is the founder and co-owner of Granite Fitness and Performance, and both a lifelong athlete and resident of Dover. He hopes to give back to the Seacoast area by providing a clean, safe, state-of-the-art facility for people to train. Ian’s main areas of expertise are functional strength and conditioning, injury prevention and athletic performance enhancement. He understands how the body works and believes strongly that movement quality effects long term health and fitness.
Ian is passionate about helping people find their place in the gym and help athletes perform the best at their sport. He wants to help people reach their full potential using training methods that help, not hurt – believing you should never have to push through pain to achieve the results you desire in the gym.
Ian has a degree in Human Science concentrated in Human Performance from the University of Tampa. His passion for continuing his education has lead him to obtain his Functional Movement Screen Level 1 (FMS-L1) Certification along with his Certified Functional Strength Coach Level 1 Certification (CFSC-L1) and his National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Training Certificate (NASM-CPT).
Ian strives to empower his clients with the knowledge and skills they need to continue to improve throughout their lives. He is available for personal training and he coaches sports performance groups and functional strength and conditioning classes.

Jake shollar

Kara Pavlidis

As the Assistant General Manager, personal trainer, and Registered Dietitian, Kara brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role at Granite. With a passion for health and wellness, she thrives on helping members achieve their fitness goals and lead healthy, sustainable lifestyles.
Kara received her Bachelor Degree in Health Science Nutrition from Keene State College in 2014, and is a Licensed & Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She also holds a Certified Functional Strength Coach Level 1 Certification (CFSC-L1).
Kara takes a personalized approach to each client, recognizing that everyone’s needs and abilities are unique. Her focus on client movement is slow, mindful, and simple. She takes the time to understand their goals, motivations, and challenges, tailoring her training and dietary recommendations accordingly.
When she’s not at Granite, Kara enjoys surfing, snowboarding, reading, and cooking.

Charley Schaible

Charley (they/he) is a Movement Specialist. Their background when it comes to your health is from working in Massage Therapy (LMT), Behavior Change (ACE), Functional Fitness (FSC), and Human Movement (GOATA).
For them, health and fitness is inclusive, holistic, and therapeutic. There is something for everybody and everybody. When working with Charley, the constant goal for you is to be confident moving through your day to day life. The next is building the foundation to climb to your next level.
When Charley is not at Granite, they like to get outside hiking on the trails and swim when possible. You can also find them playing games (board, video, puzzle, you name it!) with their partners and friends.

Sara Krslovic +

Sara Krslovic

Sara is a graduate from Rivier University with a BS in Health Science and is currently obtaining her MS in Nursing at the University of New Hampshire. She has worked as a personal trainer in functional fitness for three years primarily in Manchester, and as an LNA/MNA in long term care for six years. In addition, she was the head coach for South Meadow School’s field hockey team for two years. She holds a Certified Functional Strength Coach Level 1 (CFSC-L1), a Health Coach Certification, and a Strong First Certified Kettlebell Instructor Level 1 (SFG Level 1).
Sara has experience with athletes of all ages and clients who are brand new to training. She adapts training based on the client’s individual goals, capabilities, and limitations. She primarily utilizes kettlebells for strength and conditioning and is passionate about introducing kettlebell training to people of all ages and fitness levels due to its versatility and convenience.
Within her nursing career, Sara is eager to obtain her FNP and work in a setting that allows her to educate on the benefits of modifiable risk factors, like exercise and nutrition. When she is not working, she is most likely running, biking, hiking, lifting or swimming. While she occasionally dabbles in triathlon training, Sara’s main hobby is running. She is an avid marathon runner and has ran three marathons, including the Boston Marathon last Spring.

Declan holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS), as well as his Nutritionist certification through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA Nutritionist).
Declan takes a thoughtful and personalized approach to help people of all ages and backgrounds improve their health and overcome physical limitations, empowering them to live the life they aspire to.
When he’s not at Granite, Declan enjoys mountain biking, photography, board and video games, skiing, and being a cat dad.
